Introducing Jordan Dane

When she got the call that her first book, No One Heard Her Scream, got picked up by Avon/HarperCollins, everybody heard romantic suspense author Jordan Dane scream.

Five years ago, Dane started seriously pursuing her writing dream. Her suspenseful style and knack for creating characters that readers crave netted her 33 awards – including the coveted Golden Heart from Romance Writers of America. That award led the Avon imprint at HarperCollins to snatch up her manuscripts and catapulted her into the minds of readers hungry for a new author in the romantic suspense genre.

Since then, fans have scrambled to bookstores to buy up her latest releases, No One Left to Tell and No One Lives Forever, two books tied together by a wealthy weapons dealer and secrets that could leave some dead, and break up a sexy romance between a police detective and an emotionally-damaged man who is picking up the pieces after family secrets nearly destroy him.

And Dane isn’t slowing down. She is working on a romantic thriller trilogy, the Sweet Justice series, that incorporates her former home of Alaska in one of the books. Publishers Weekly says this about the exciting new series:

What makes Dane’s work unique is her dark, sexy, flawed characters. These people aren’t perfect. Their lives have been filled with lies, deceit, death and unhappiness. Some are anti-heros – the imperfect beings you root for even if they aren’t quite on the right side of good. Dane creates characters readers care about and root for, even if what they are doing doesn’t quite fall in the right area of today’s moral compass. This trait, along with an incredible knack for detail and twisty plots, will continue to push Dane to the forefront of her genre.
