we missed so many, i know we did. what does everyone think?
and remember, i don’t really agree with eric on the jean grey thing. (sorry, E)
Good podcast!
Northstar: Don’t forget he already had AIDS, sorta. It was never specifically stated, but his fight with Pestilence “made an existing illness much more severe” and he was hacking and coughing until he nearly died. It had to be what they meant, but was too early to state in comics.
New Teen Titans Baxter: I agree after Trigon it and the newstand jumped the shark, but I think it’s also a matter of timing and circumstance. George Perez would have still left doing artwork to go to Crisis, regardless if it remained as a single newstand series.
That was also about the time Wolfman became writer/editor, something I usually think is a bad idea, because there isn’t someone to tell the writer “No” and to rework their ideas.
You know, I think we just need some plaster and spackle tools and that wall of reality will look good as new!
I bet DC could even get its deposit back.
this rocks my socks!
And Jean Grey’s revival is the best thing that ever happened to me so how dare you!
haha, nah but seriously, I would be pist if they decided never to bring her back.
The only reason I’m okay with Jean coming back is, you know....
she’s the Phoenix, and that’s what they do.
