My favorite is the Pho-Pearl collection. The web show was created by Sean Masterson and directed by Brian K. Roberts. You also want to check out “Men’s Hygiene Forum” “One Size Fits All” and the rest of the episodes. I’m telling you, I couldn’t stop laughing. Coming up is an episode featuring inventor Richard Murphy who shows how to effectively handle pests with his Bug Hammer. Just the name, Bug Hammer, makes me smile.
Are you guys into “The Apprentice?” Can you explain to me why people find this show interesting? Okay, I get why you watched the first season. Donald Trump’s hair is mesmerizing, but I just don’t get why you keep watching.
“I’m telling you, this is exciting stuff,” Trump says and he’s talking about the show, not his hair. “My daughter is on the show with me and she gives me real insight.” (Read: She’s doing most of the footwork, and has to listen to the incessant whining of the contestants and me.)
I’ve seen the first two episodes of the new season and I’m still not impressed. They’ve moved the show from New York City to Los Angeles, and now the losing team has to sleep in tents out in the backyard. Total snorefest for me. Sorry. If you feel you must watch, the new season debuts, Sunday, Jan. 7., on NBC.
Donal Logue’s new series “The Knights of Prosperity” debuts Wednesday, Jan. 3, on ABC. I don’t know why the lameness of the comedy in this one makes me laugh so much, but it does.
Eugene (Logue) is tired of his dead-end janitorial job, which doesn’t even allow him to afford premium booze. He sees an episode of an entertainment news show and discovers what a big life Mick Jagger is living. Eugene convinces his friends and a couple of strangers to form a band of criminals intent on robbing the rock star.
“This guy is so down and out,” says Logue, “and in the midst of all of this he sees a little hope. That is if he can rob Mick Jagger. He gets this group together of people who are in the same boat as he is and are ready for their big break.”
Logue says Jagger was more than happy to participate. “He couldn’t have been cooler about the whole thing,” says the actor. “They called him up and had to work it around his tour schedule, but he was great. He was great about all of it.”
The show also stars Sofia Vergara, Lenny Venito, Maz Jobrani, Kevin Michael Richardson and Josh Grisetti.
We have some fun stuff coming up the next few weeks. Where can you find all the great scoopage on “American Idol,” “24” and the upcoming “Dresden Files.” Right here my friends. See ya next week.

I know! I’m completely confused. It wasn’t *that* funny, but I was cracking up. I loved it. Maybe it’s humor exists on a level the brain has trouble processing?
It’s got a retro quality that makes it funnier.
True. The premise is great, but I don’t know if that alone will carry it through the season.
