Captain Britain & The MI: 13 #3 gets a second printing

So either Marvel didn’t anticipate Captain Britain & The MI: 13 being as successful as they thought, or it’s really that good.  Let’s go with both.  If you haven’t yet subbed to the series, do so now!

Marvel is proud to announce that Captain Britain & The MI: 13 is now three-for-three, as the third issue of 2008’s most critically acclaimed new ongoing series has sold out at Diamond (though copies may be available at the retail level). To meet this overwhelming demand, Marvel is going back to press with Captain Britain & The MI: 13 #3 Second Printing Variant, with a new cover featuring the stunning interior art of Leonard Kirk…and the return of a fallen hero! With everyone from the BBC to Fox News talking about this series, it’s time to learn just why acclaimed scribe Paul Cornell (television’s Doctor Who, upcoming Fantastic Four: True Story) and artist Kirk have received acclaim from all corners for this Secret Invasion spin-off! And it well deserves it. This has been a brilliant series so far… and that sequence when all the Union Jack flags start to fly off their poles… that really sent shivers up my spine. That was probably one of the great moments of this year so far in comics.
