Scott McCloud’s Understanding Google’s Chrome

Only Scott McCloud could properly explain what the heck Google is up to with their new browser, Chrome, through the magic of webcomics.

Chrome is a new web browser based on the Webkit engine of Apple’s Safari fame.  Great, another browser to test our new website design against.

Go read it now unless you’re in China.

I’m getting a 20 hr wait to download it from that link.  I’m not even sure if its available for Mac.

This thing is more elusive than Android.

Google Chrome has already been downloaded over 18 million times. It’s already passed my browser of choice, Opera. Who’s next? I think they’re coming for you, Firefox.

I have become a fan for McCloud after reading the
‘Google on Google Chrome - comic book’ .

The tab narration, javascript, V8, Gears, Plugins,
pop-up & tabs, Sandboxing, Chrome-bot narration
is interesting.

The comic is fantastic :):)
