Understanding Final Crisis
Anybody understand what happened?
The rumor still floats that Morrison had Final Crisis written before it was even announced at last year’s SDCC DC Nation panel, so is anything that happened in Death of the New Gods, Countdown or any of that mean anything? Is continuity not a priority?
These and other wft questions will probably surround the book long after it’s finished. Luckily, Final Crisis Annotations gives us the play by play. Portland blogger Douglas Wolk is almost scary in how much he knows about the DCU. His former blog 52 Pickup followed the same vein, though I don’t think even he could have explained the mess of countdown.
