Hey everybody,

ShowShow’s celebrating our 50th episode this week with an interview with the most incendiary filmmaker to currently breath: Uwe Boll. If you’ve never listened before, then this episode should be the perfect gateway for you.

And if you’ve got a podcast of your own, then it’d be great if you played our promo (http://showshow.podOmatic.com/enclosure/2008-05-17T18_57_28-07_00.mp3) for the event on your show this week. Just saying…

I wanted to tell everyone here about a contest happening with Mail Order Zombie right now. If you’ve listened to Episode 14, you would have heard that I’m giving away two copies of the 4-Headshot-rated zombie film Evil from TLA Releasing, and I’m also going to be throwing in a zombie mini-comic (Zombie Chicken #0 by B. Zedan) that I picked up at the Stumptown Comics Fest in with the prize packs as well. Contest details on how to enter (it’s pretty much a trivia contest, but the trivia subject is the Mail Order Zombie podcast itself!) were first announced in Episode 14 (May 1st) of Mail Order Zombie, I’ll mention it again in Episode 15 (scheduled for May 8th), and I’ll be accepting entries until Wednesday, May 14th. If I get more than two correct answers/entries, I’ll draw randomly from the winners.

Hey all. Just wanted to let everyone know that we are debuting a new website for our show Drunken Zombie. The website will give us a chance to give you more insight into our likes and dislikes as far as horror movies, game, music, and books go. we’ll be posting hopefully new content every day. Also stop by our new forums by following the link on home page. We’re still going to be doing some superficial tweaking and currently our Firefox users will see our banner advertisements towards the top of the page rather than the bottom of page like seen with our Internet Explorer users. But stop by, comment on some stuff, and check out our Forums.

Next month, I’m planning on covering a local film festival for my podcast, Mail Order Zombie. Now, I’m not going to be able to set myself up with a table ala the Night of the Living Podcast crew at Horror Hound, but I’m open to any sort of advice anyone might have when it comes to covering a show or festival . . .

I think the best I’m going to be able to do is get my hands on some sort of mini-recorder, but . . . I wouldn’t know what to look for or what sort of portable set-up I should be looking at getting my hands on . . .

Does anyone have any pointers . . . ?
