Hey everyone.

As you know, I love Zeus Comics. For the past few years, I’ve had some great in-store signings. You’ve always shown up to support me. And that means a lot.

So now, I’ve happily updated my website (http://www.antiherocomics.com)—all my comics and graphic novels link directly to the Zeus Comics online store. (http://www.zeuscomics.com/store/search.lasso?search=David+Hopkins). Chris has kindly added cover images and descriptions to each of my titles.

Even if you already have a copy of Astronaut Dad or Emily Edison, I’d love it if you’d peruse the site to give your own starred rating or review. If you didn’t like something, I won’t judge. :)

I’ll see everyone at CAPE!

The weekend of May 4th is looking to be huge.

The 10th anniversary of PvP, the marriage of Brent and Jade and the fourth annual CAPE event all happen over the same amazing weekend. And we plan to celebrate (don’t forget Iron Man premieres too)!

The happy couple have registered at Zeus Comics. When two geeks like Brent and Jade get hitched, you know they’re not interested in toasters and blenders. They want comics and toys and games, and Zeus can deliver.

But here’s the best part: Brent and Jade already get so much stuff for free working at PvP, they’ve decided not to keep any of their gifts. Anything you buy for them, you get to keep. We’ll send it to you with a personalized thank you card signed by the happy couple.

Cape is sizing up to be the most insane free comic book day event in the history of FCBD. I mean, we got Robert Kirkman, Mark Waid, Gail Simone, David Mack, Chynna Clugston, Jason Pearson, Tony Bedard, Greg Pak, Marc Andreyko…whew. That’s not even everyone coming. My fingers just started to cramp from all that typing.

Seriously, Cape is ruining FCBD for every other retailer in a three state radius. And we just don’t care.

We hope you’ll join us in celebrating comics, the anniversary of PvP and the wedding of Brent and Jade. Come to the PvP table and sign Brent and Jade’s wedding guest book (seriously).

On Saturday, you should join me at Conduit Gallery. Why? Besides for a chance to make awkward conversation with a scruffy, bearded, awesome guy, you can check out French photographer Cedric Delsaux’s fascinating series Star Wars on Earth. In it, from what I gather, Delsaux takes resin Star Wars statues, places them throughout Paris, and photographs the result (like the one pictured here), creating something that should hit your sweet spot whether you’re a fan of Star Wars, art, or-like me-both. Plus, Conduit will also have exhibits by Vincent Falsetta and Justin Quinn. (The opening reception is on March 29, and starts at 5:30 p.m.)

The pick up your own Star Wars statues at our store!

Possible the only thing useful about the Zeus forums at out main site is the newsletter we send out each week. Its good for RSS subscribers who do not want the email itself, and it scores well on Google too.

But all that aside, not much happens on the Zeus side. So we’re closing the forums there and using the PopSyndicate site to host forums here.
