Hey Family . . .

Our rankings right now at Podcast Alley aren’t as high as we’d like. I know the month is coming to an end, but we’d still like to get our numbers up as much as we can, and as of right now, we’re at Number 14. (In the past, we’ve been up as high as Number 3!)

According to Podcast Alley, we’ve only received 19 votes this month, and I know we have more MOZ Family Members than that. If you like the show, and you haven’t already voted this month, please consider voting for us at Podcast Alley at this link -

(You can vote once a month, so, yeah, I’ll post something similar in December!)

Brother D uses the words “bunny rabbit” way too much this week in Episode 43 of Mail Order Zombie. A bunny rabbit makes its way through one of the three movies he reviews - The Forever Dead, Storm of the Dead and Dead Country. Two members of the Mail Order Zombie family contribute reviews of their own, bringing the review total to four-and-a-half (!) this week. In the middle of all these reviews, Brother D talks about how to get the most amount of movies for the least amount of money, and we launch a new contest in this episode! We have four copies of a 5-Headshot-rated movie to give away! Miss Bren also swings by for the weekly Feedback Discussion, and we’re still accepting answers for the current Zombie Aptitude Test question. Can you handle the bunny rabbit? Can you handle the zombies? Can you handle Episode 43?

List 3 skills you’d like to have on Z-day. Stay reasonably confined to skills one can conceivably learn, so nothing like being able to make lightsabres, although that would be a wicked skill at anytime.

For me: After the dead rise, and our governments fail - once I have the basic essentials covered, I am hitting a toy store. I want lots of marbles. Will they guarantee my survival? No. But I will head through the streets and get a posse on my tail and head up stairs. Remember, there won’t be any HBO and maybe no electricity - gotta find your fun where you can.

Hey all,
14hourzimbie here. Okay here is the movie I have been trying to put a name too. I’ll break it down to what I remember, the facts, and let it go from there. Any help or idea is greatly appreciated.

Facts:
I am 47 years old. I graduated high school way back in 1979. (No i don’t need a walker thank you.) I grew up in Washington Missouri, which back then was a small town. My cousins and i would have to drive a hour or more to get to a drive in to see a movie. So that would put this film coming out around 1976 to the mid 80’s.

What I remember:
Okay bear in mind it’s been several years, but the opening of the movie is as follows. It’s night out, A guy is out in a field seating up a camera/cameras on a tripod. There are either photographers studio lights or the time elaspe flash of the camera going off. But I do remember there being a strobe like effect.
At this point, the guy gets attacked by one zombie coming out of the darkness. there is a struggle and he manages to free himself, knocks the zombie to the ground behind his car. Jumps in and backs over the legs of the zombie. (I wont forget that crunch.)

Now here is where it gets muddled for me. At some point he finds a lab with a group scientists, who are hiding from the zombie attack. the story goes, there was something that soaked into the soil after a rain. (could have been man made, or cosmic.) a group of zombies attack the lab, killing and turn all but the first guy. He makes it out of the lab thinking he is safe, only to be done in by the first zombie. Who has somehow drug itself though the entire movie, only to get him in the end.

That is pretty much all i remember. I took place at night, in a field, and the guy gets killed bye the first zombie. It was on the same bill as mother’s day, i do remember that.

Any thoughts or ideas guys? Please let me know.

I’m looking for a few good zombie-themed songs. I’ve got something coming up episode-wise, and I need to grab one or two songs that deal with the undead. I don’t have a preference regarding genre, and I would prefer to find something a little more independent than something from one of the bigger record companies.

Anyone have any ideas/suggestions?
