Toys of your childhood/toys you miss.

What toys do you miss from your childhood? Or just miss?
In my childhood, it pretty rapidly went from Fisher-Price little people to Star Wars figures. So, I’d have to go with the main 2 for moe.
1) I, of course, miss the Muppet toys. They only got a few series in and then Palisades was gone, and with it, the chance to find a Sal Minella figure to compliment my Johnny Fiamma. Also, the Sesame Street figures haven’t been released, and I was really looking forward to those. Maybe someday.
2) The other toys I miss? M.A.S.K.! Vehicles that change, helmets with powers, it was all good!

Bearbricks - cute, and insidiously evil

While on a rare family visit to Zeus comics, the wife saw the assorted Bearbricks on the counter, and fell in love. So, we had to buy two of them and open them right in the store.
Bearbricks are little plastic bears from Asia, and right now, they are on Series 11. The are blind packed, so you don;t know what’s inside the box, but they do list the percentage of each bear that can be found in the box. That day, we walked out with what I feel are two of the best Bears. SF and Pattern. I loved it so much, I made Pattern my default picture on Myspace. It’s a little toy bear covered in tribal tattoos. What’s not to love?
Then, on Wednesday, another trip to Zeus comics, this time for the Emily Edison trade, some signatures, and an impromptu spoken word performance by Mondo from Live 105.3 radio. I also had to bring home another Bearbrick. This time in side the box was one called “Horror”. I’m not altogether sure why he’s called “horror” when he looks like a small bear pirate, but ok. He goes with the other ones.
So the question is: do I look for some of the other Bearbricks from earlier series? I also have seen variations called Kubricks, encompassing everything from Muppets, to Superheroes, and even Breakfast cereal icons.
Let’s hear from the Bearbrick/Kubrick collectors out there!!

The superhero toys out now are some good things. Even the new G.I. Joe: Sigma 6 toys are looking good.

Anyone have any favorites?
