Our production value sucks

Okay, here are the problems:

1. None of us live in the same state.
2. Some of us are using Linux.
3. Some of us are using whatever sort of computer is available at the time because of a lack of personal computer.
4. We now all have microphones but due to problems 1-3, still have to call one another on our cell phones and listen/talk to one another that way.

Currently we use Talkshoe to conference call because sometimes we have a fourth podcaster. Talkshoe only runs on Windows and the sound quality even with a mic is ass awful.

Anyone have any solutions?

Grant Morrison

I know you guys really like Grant Morrison but I’m a bit worried about Final Crisis. I like his work and always pick up a comic he has written. Hell, he got me to buy X-Men again. I feel like Morrison writes great ideas but his endings are usually lackluster. It’s like he knows how to write these big stories but doesn’t know how to end them.

Curious to get your thoughts on this.

I’m almost positive that Photoshop has spell-check. I use version CS3, so maybe that’s a new feature. But you’d think a letterer would be a very good speller anyway.

Episode 18: BSG and SV

I’m really liking BSG this season. Of course it’s always good but this season seems to have started with a bang. Like the new site.

We’ve had to start deleting older episodes off of Podomatic to make room for the newer ones. Don’t fret, though. All the shows are archived at Geektress.com. As soon as we figure out how to change our RSS feed in iTunes, you’ll be able to get every episode (if you want) on your iPod.

Episode 16: Tattoos, Unexpectedly

All production value pretty much goes out the window when one of your cast forgets about the show and gets a tattoo instead. We really tried to keep Supernatural out of this one, too, but it is INESCAPABLE!

Episode 15: Wolverine & Wondie

Since this was a duplicate thread for our show episode, I’ll just open it up to the topic of TV on DVD. Which is a good topic, because I now have developed an aptitude for only watching shows on DVD. Watching The Wire this season is really killing me. One at a time? PFF!
