When a bunch of us were over at MediaSharx, we had a forum discussion quite a while back where we listed all the shows we watch regularly and compared them. Anyone interested in doing that here?
I’ll start:
1. Smallville (duh)
2. Battlestar Galactica
3. Alias
4. Lost
5. Invasion
6. West Wing
7. The Daily Show
8. The Colbert Report
9. The Office
10. King of Queens
11. Stargate Atlantis
12. Stargate SG-1 (although only recently)
13. Curb Your Enthusiasm
14. Extras
15. Monk
16. Justice League Unlimited
17. The Batman
That’s right, only two sitcoms, no CSIs, and no Law & Orders (although occasionally I’ll get caught up in one if my wife is watching it). And I hate reality shows in general, although I do watch Last Comic Standing when it’s on, and I think it’s coming back in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, Alias, West Wing, King of Queens, and possibly Invasion are ending this season, as did Arrested Development a couple of months ago, which was one of my favorite shows ever (a problem that seems to happen more and more frequently with my favorite shows over the past few years).
There are also several shows that I fell behind on, either because I didn’t have HBO for a while or because they conflicted with a show I liked more, so I have to get caught up on DVD (yeah, I could jump in now and then go back, but I’m weird that way):
1. Sopranos
2. Deadwood
3. 24
4. The Shield
5. Prison Break
6. Supernatural
7. The Dead Zone
8. Rome
possibly Dr. Who
I know I’m forgetting at least a couple, but someone else will probably bring them up and then it’ll jog my memory.
