Hey gents. I think you guys should dig up Adam Rifkin’s ‘The Dark Backward’ and review it
for a future show. This film is in my 10 ten of all time.
How can you go wrong with:
Judd Nelson as a comedian with a deformity.
Bill Paxton as a chubby chasing, accordian playing, garbage eating garbageman
A threesome with some 300lb plus ladies.
James Cann, Wayne Newton, and Rob Lowe in supporting roles.
The closest I can come to describing it is if David Lynch shot Eraserhead as a tragic comedy.
This film tanked when it came out, but is soooooo far out there, it HAS TO be seen.
It’s like liver, you’ll either dig into it, or run screaming…
Oh, and btw, The Dark Backward, and Combat Shock are two films that I think out trash
Street Trash, and I loves me some Street Trash.
There’s those certain films that have a certain ability to make you feel as if you’ve been soaking in the juice that accumulates in the bottom of a garbage bag. Funny thing is, you enjoy it all the same…
Sure Pink Flamingos is known as the crown jewel of scummy cinema, but I’d say you have to look at Gummo, Salo, Combat Shock, Street Trash, and The Dark Backward…
Don’t even get me started on GG Allin:Hated….
