Being forced to use at windows for my job is like being forced to go against my sexual orientation.  Sure, politicians do it all time, I just don’t swing that way.

Using Firefox is as close to a normal browsing experience I can get without sneaking my Mac notebook computer in and using that instead.

Not Firefox 2.0 is out and available for download.  I really like it so far, the upgrade experience was effortless and took less than three minutes.

By the way, what browser do you use?  I can look at the stats to find out, but I’m curious to find out from our active visitors.

I bet you almost wet yourself with anticipation.

I switch between Opera and IE 6.

You’re what’s wrong with America!  I did.  I peed a little.

Too many things don’t work with Opera.  If I want to watch video or almost anything interactive, I have to use IE 6.

This update comes with a much needed spell checker.

I’m notoriously bad at spelling.  My mac has it in all of its apps, something that I’ve taken advantage of for too long.  Now that I’m forced to use windows, I am really really happy about the upgrade.

I resisted using anything but Safari for the past couple of years but two weeks ago, I discovered the joys of Googles Bookmark Synch extension for Firefox and it’s now my browser of choice.  Of course, it’s tricked out to look and act like Safari in every possible way.

I’ve also been experimenting a bit with Flock lately.  I like some of the fuctionality of it but it boots up way too slow.

There was something about Flock that was unique to it that the others couldn’t do.  I don’t remember what that was though.

Ya. Firefox has really tried to match a lot of the UI in Safari.  I have to relearn how to close tabs now.  My bookmarks at work are set with del.icio.us which I’m totally digging right now.

I thought this was going to be about a sequel to that Eastwood movie “Firefox” from the 80’s.
