Episode 22 is going to be the Heaven/Hell episode where we go over our creamy guilty pleasures AND the effed up films that disturbed us more than any others.

There are going to be some seriously embarrassing revelations made on this episode and in the interest of bringing the Diabolical Legion together I want YOU to call in with your guilty pleasures. PLEASE keep it brief because these’ll be played during the segment not at the end of the show.

I say go balls out with the absolute cheesiest shite you wouldn’t want anyone to know about.  Otherwise, what’s the point?  Everyone has some embarrassing skeletons in the closet.

I admitted that I saw Premonition [that Sandra Bullock crapfest] in the theatre on the ShowShow forum.  I didn’t like it but just admitting it was kind of therapeutic.

Isn’t that the first step to recovery….admitting you have a problem….dude…I saw Bring It On in theaters because my wife at the time thought it would be a cool movie…....I blame it on my wife but I have always had a thing for cheerleaders….....used to own it on DVD as well. This could end up being very shameful for me…...hell I wont even admit my favorite guilty pleasure of all time until after the show comes out

I’ll definitely give a call.  Any opportunity to make an ass out of myself to numerous strangers ...

As a warm-up, I’ll fess that I’ve seen “The Country Bears” multiple times, and I didn’t hate it.  Oh, and if I ran across a cheap enough copy, I’d probably buy it.

I really don’t know what could be more embarrassing than admitting that I collect Hello kitty. Well….seeing Premonition.  I’m right there with you TVan.  =(

I think if you’d admitted to liking the STV Bring It On sequels it would have been far more shameful.

yeah, but weren’t yours “safe” picks? If my memory serves me correctly they were.. Don’t get me wrong; i’ve listened to each epi and it’s a good podcast, but guilty pleasures should be just that; guilty pleasures. I could be wrong though and you guys may have said some truly awful shit during that segment, but I thought I recalled thinking to myself that they weren’t that bad at all.. I’m talking we need Beaches, fried green tomatoes bad(neither of which I’ve seen or will ever see; but trust me, my cheese will be revealed on the next epi)

Beaches?  Fried Green Tomatoes?  Aw, shit.  Considering that almost all of the films that I watch on a constant basis are “guilty pleasures,” I’m going to have to come up w/ something.

Hans: They may be trashy, low grade stuff, but I personally (nor should you) feel no guilt for the sleaze that we love. I wear those proud on my proverbial jean jacket covered in buttons/pins ala cock rockers in the 80’s. I may be misconstruing the term “guilty pleasures”, but to me it’s shit that you on a personal level are somewhat or outright embarassed to admit you like. F13 or DZ correct me if I’m wrong, as I don’t want out myself with some of the velveeta I’m gonna unleash and/or get my cool kid card revoked if it’s the way Hans sees it..

There will be no coolkidcard revocation in my book, Willy.  :P You certainly are on the level.  I was just making a joke.  It’s just that beyond really message boards, no one likes the films that I do.  The films I love I make no bones about admitting.  When talking to peeps who dont like the films I do, I almost feel like an apologist for liking the genres that I do and the films I do.

The films that anyone likes I would never put them down for.  If its Harry Potter or Eli Roth or whatever, it’s cool in my book.  Films that are personal to you or anything is very cool.  Even cooler when you admit it.  :)  Late.

You know Willy, now that I am thinking of it you are right, they are pretty “safe” picks that we have done. I am going to have to turn it up a notch for this then. Let my true feelings out to the world.

good man.. let the cleansing/purging begin.. .I keep meaning to call into the show, but haven’t got around to it yet.. keep fighting the good fight man, you guys have a good show. One correction though, you guys mentioned someone playing the lead in the great American Ninja series and much to my horror you did not mention the Dudikoff as our hero, you said someone who couldn’t lace up Michael Dudikoff’s army boots(just figured I’d pass that along)..

and that’s why thee interweb is so grand! Us like minded folk can find a refuge amidst the shit storm of Hollywood trash that batters our proverbial yellow slickers.. remember Hans: if peeps don’t like our trash, they’re the ones with the problem/poor taste, not us. Let them have the Ratners and McG’s of the world, I’m content with my To’s and Castellari’s ;)
