In honor of many food show requests we’ve spent a lot of time watching the Food Network in HD. Deeps watched some Iron Chef and a Chefography. Plus we’re recording lots of No Reservations.

Nice, Anthony Bourdain is extremely charismatic.

I’ve actually been indulging in old BBC shows including The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Are you being served? and Keeping up appearances.

Here’s the official PBR list of the shows we’re currently watching and up to date on (these are in no particular order, and some are either DVD or Downloads from the BBC):

ANTM
Survivor
Big Brother
Beauty and the Geek
Hell’s Kitchen
Top Chef
The Biggest Loser
The Deadliest Catch
Lost
Eli Stone
Battlestar Gallactica
Torchwood
Doctor Who
Dawson’s Creek
Scrubs
The Office
My Name is Earl
30 Rock
Degrassi
One Tree Hill
Gossip Girl
Smallville
Red Dwarf
Homes Across America
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Family Guy
King of the Hill
Reaper
Wife Swap
Lipstick Jungle
Bullshit

And i’m drawing a blank now. .  I know there’s a few more, but my computer is in here, and my DVR is out there, and I’m to lazy to look.

That list is comprehensive and alarming - I’m not sure we’re watching that much stuff, despite the fact we’re doing a weekly TV podcast.

We should probably step up. Although, I think it’s just been slow since the strike. When Sweeps is upon us we gorge on TV - it is sick-making.

I perused through my DVR tonight and my hard-drive (for those BBC show’s we don’t get here), and easily there’s about 12 more shows to add to that list.  I don’t know wether to be proud or ashamed.

Let’s not get too crazy now. Nobody has seen the results yet.

I, too, was a lowly English major.

Wow, I was just thinking of the shows I would watch on TV if I had cable and I could only think of cartoons. Two of which are ending this season. Of course one has a spin-off starting soon as well, so I guess it’s not a total loss. Wait, nevermind, I don’t watch them on TV I buy the DVD box-sets.
