First, that the Joker is in this one, due to the cool ending in Batman Begins.

Second, that this flick doesn’t drown in villains the way the subsequent Batman movies did in the Burton movies.

This is amazingly old news actually. In fact, the Joker has not only been confirmed, he’s been cast. I know Heath Ledger isn’t the popular choice, but I didn’t expect anyone to black out for six months at the news. (Personally, Nolan won me over with Batman Begins so much, I’m going to wait and see before I say anything bad about the casting).

Two-Face is not the villain of The Dark Knight, which is the official title, however it is expected that Harvey Dent will turn up. He has yet to be cast.

Persistent rumors have previously included The Penguin in a cameo, but haven’t seen a lot of backing in reports. Casting rumors for ol’ Cobblepot had Bob Hoskins. While a pretty amazing choice, it’s been shot down.

However, I heard Tom Cruise will be playing Iron Man. :)

Did Paramount lose the rights to Iron Man the Movie yet?
If not then it’ll be a cold day in hell before Tom Cruise plays Iron Man.
Remember they just had a bitter divorce recently.
