I finally watched it, and I have to say, I was very disappointed. I didn’t really find iy scary or suspenseful at all, and I didn’t like the ending much, either. Save for a few impressive shots and a good idea here and there, I really can’t recommend it much. However, it seems I’m in the minority on this.

Thoughts?

great film, I think we are actualy going to be featureding this next week on our show.

I have to agree with Tony. Movie is kind of over rated.

It seemed very flat to me.

I liked it.  The tension was good.  A bit overhyped maybe, but still a good little 70 minute film.

scared the bejesus outta me, but I don’t like big empty houses to begin with.

It was good. Not great. Not something I would recommend or want to see again. I wasn’t bored with it. But it was that exciting either.

Funny. I heard so much about it before I saw it. Then after lots of people saw it-no one seems to care about it any more.

I liked it for the most part and enjoyed the bit of text they gave us at the end.  I thought that was a nice, creepy little touch.

I’m gonna have to check it out because everyone I know who has seen it gives me a different opinion of the film and now we have this thread and the debate continues…..

I finally watched the film and I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed. Great sound design and some good tense moments but it just kind of falls flat. I’m not gonna say its a bad film, I would recommend anyone checking it out, it’s just a little flat with a couple good moments. The beginning 10 minutes are very well done however…..

Just saw this last night and I have kept my ears pretty much closed to all the hype of the film and I found it a great watch.  Not a watch I’d buy and watch over and over, but damn good and I like the essence behind it - lack of real motive and to me that is what made Country for old men good, just a lack of conscious and apathy and doing something to do it.

I love the film
