You know, this thread has turned into something that reminds me of a little piece I read from The AV Club. There’s a little section in a review of 30 Days Of Night that neatly summed up my feelings about horror films….

From the looks of this discussion I am not alone in this thinking.

That review was awesome. I finally figured out why I didnt like Hartnett and George in those roles even though I thought they did an excellent job, acting-wise.
