I always thought that every Uwe film I saw sucked major ass and vowed never to see another one - they weren’t even so bad they were good films - they just sucked. But towards the end of last year I met him while I was on my book tour at a horror con and we talked for a while and he was such a cool and nice guy I figured I would give him a second chance out of a new formed sympathy for his coolness. That second chance came in the form of IN THE NAME OF THE KING: A Dungeon Siege Tale - Well most of it was fast forwarded by my disgusted hand - some actors had accents reflecting the time and others did not, some actors used words of that time and others did not, the editing was the worst I have ever seen and watching it pained me deep inside to the point I felt sick and vomit brewing in my gut for how f’ing bad this waste of 2 hours was and the fact I rented it when I could of rented something else drives me batsh**. I was dupped!!! So I don’t care if he came off as a nice and cool guy - his movies are god damn terrible. Never again.
Man Miles you’ve got balls, I dont If i could hold back on the dude. Very interested to hear this.
Thanks, Bill (I’m pretty sure you’re Bill. If you’re not, then you’re faulty somehow). He was pretty easy to talk to once I got an awkward statement about the weather out of the way within the first few seconds ("Ohmygod! It’s sooooo hot here too! Lol!).
And in regards to it being released anytime soon: yeah, it will be. We just have to record the rest of the show to go along with it, and we may do that after we’ve seen Indiana Jones. Maybe…
We’re always late for shit, so this shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone that regularly listens to the show.
