I know Freddy said something about a possible spin-off podcast about action movies. Was this just off the cuff talk or could this possibly happen? I’d love to hear Freddy and Chiz talk about Steven Seagal, Chuck Norris, and Jean-Claude Van Damme.
woo! more supporters, we need! I really would love for this to happen. Hell, freddy and chiz could just have a weekly podcast of them bullshitting and Id listen. I just want more NOTLP of any form. They make me laugh.
Freddy and I are hammering out the details of the upcoming Lethal Heat: Force Impact podcast. Mainly, we just have to get schedules correct and decide on movies to watch. I continue my fight to get our first movie to be Remo Williams: The Adventure Continues, as I believe this movie to be the greatest action movie of all time.
As I remember it, ‘Remo Williams’ is classic. I saw that movie years ago when I was about eight or so. All I remember is he runs across wet cement so fast that he doesn’t leave footprints. And doesn’t he fight someone on top of the Statue Of Liberty? I can’t remember exactly.
All I can say though is that I’ll be waiting for ‘Steven Seagal Month’. Hopefully it will be just like ‘Stephen King Month’ only instead of the Master of Horror, it will be about the Lord of Wrist Snapping.
Im really looking forward to the STV portion, personally. Some of my favorite martial arts films when I was a kid were STV (all the non-Van Damme Universal Soldiers come to mind). I would stroll through the action section at the video store and rent random crappy action movies and just be in heaven.
If the first pick were up to me, though, Id have to go with Forced Vengeance. I had a boner for Chuck Norris movies WAAAAAAY before he became the subject of idiotic net nerd jokes and FV is and always will be my favorite of his movies. Remo Williams was awesome in it’s absurdity, though. Whatever, just gets it done. I can’t wait, dudes.
