I know you guys really like Grant Morrison but I’m a bit worried about Final Crisis.  I like his work and always pick up a comic he has written.  Hell, he got me to buy X-Men again.  I feel like Morrison writes great ideas but his endings are usually lackluster.  It’s like he knows how to write these big stories but doesn’t know how to end them.

Curious to get your thoughts on this.

I’m really into reading Final Crisis.  The rumor at SDCC last year was that it was already written

Yeah, Grant has a tendency to end with a whimper than a bang…Seven Soldiers being the most glaring example…it was a great series, but the end was just rather unsatisfying.

I don’t know what will happen in Final Crisis, but I’m sure it will be a helluva ride.

I hope this 911 thing is for real and not just on tv

I was looking forward to Final Crisis, but, as I read more about it, I find myself really not caring.  I think I’ll be sitting this one out, as a sacrifice to the gods of gas-is-too-damn-expensive-to-be-buying-so-many-damn-comics.  If I hear good things, maybe I will pick it up in trade.

I’m really excited about All Star Superman #11 coming out today though.  It’s going to be so sad when that series is over.
