So with One Year Later so far along, what are the choices for good reads?
Batman started off great, but I’m not too interested until the team that started comes back.
Robin has definitely been my favorite with Green Arrow, becoming a surprising second.
JSA, and JLA restarts are holding me more JSA than JLA but I’ll give them till the end of this current arc to get up to a story I will desperately crave.
Nightwing hasn’t even been able to hold me for a complete issue.
Catwoman was a one issue read,
I am liking Birds of Prey again
And Teen Titans rocks.
Superman never grabbed me and wonder woman if it comes out is pretty decent.
Anyway the point is, the one year later bullets aren’t on the individual issues anymore so we are far enough in, almost at the end i think. What are you all reading, whats a good title to pick up?

Right now, my favorite DCU book has to be Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes.  They’ve done a great job integrating her into the team.  And since the OYL start, I think Waid and Kitson have been getting better and better.

Green Lantern is also one of my favorite titles right now.  It’s easily Johns best work and Ivan Reiss is a nice artist on the book.  His work reminds me of a blend of Neal Adams’ figures with Alan Davis’ fluidity.

I haven’t been able to get into Action comics too much but I’ve really enjoyed the Busiek/Pacheco Superman title.  Both are probably horribly underrated and their first storyline spends a bit too much time on a possible future rather than telling stories in the here and now.  But both creators are solid and adventurous storytellers.

Of course, there’s the few more months of 52.

The second issue of JSA was great.  JLA hasn’t really kicked in for me yet but I’m holding out for the JLA/JSA crossover in a few months.

Speaking of 52, are there any announced plans for the collection of the series?

The first 52 trade is in the new Previews for release on May 30th.  Looks like they’ll be collecting 13 issues at a time.

I’m enjoying the Superman books right now.  Detective has been ok and Batman looks like it’s about to get awesome again.

JLA and JSA are both really good.  JSA is much better as JLA started off pretty slow.
