Pinochle a game for old folks? (Snicker!) We used to play that with another couple when we were first married. I never understood the stupid game! (Bear in mind that I seem to lack any strategy, I teach people how to play Chess and they beat me next game!) I sometimes think that maybe A.D.D. Is a real thing and I’ve got it. (Where were we?)

May I add one more title to the topic of Great Runs of Comic Books? How about the Wolfman / Pérez run on Teen Titans?

Band On the Run? Argh! If I never hear that or Silly Little Love Song ever again, it will be too soon! I can’t hit the radio button fast enough when either of those comes on! I must admit though, I once included them on a Playlist called ‘The Epitome of Pop’. I’d go on and tell you some of the other cuts on that playlist but it occurs to me that maybe you guys would like to do that as a topic one day? I can tell you that my number one on the list was ABC by the Jackson Five.

Is Pinochle anything like Euchre?  Personally, other than variations on poker, I hate games other than chess.  For whatever deep seated reasons (and I won’t go into them here) I’ve just never been a game person.  My wife is from a big family and whenever we have a get-together, the games come out of the closest.  A game of dominoes is just the ruin of a perfectly good night. 

Agreed on the Wolfman/Perez Titans.  I think our focus was more on Marvel’s great runs but at their best, Wolfman/Perez is up there with Claremont/Byrne.

What’s wrong with Silly Little Love Songs?  What’s wrong with that?  I need to know.  ‘Cause here I go agaaaiiiiiiiinnnnn........
