Some of the captions below the pictures are pretty hysterical.

It’s nice to see that you have gone up in the world Mr K.  You started out a being merely called a douche-nozzle and have now progressed to people wishing you would die.  They are the kind of reviews that M. Night can only dream of.

That is rough.

I remember when I first ordered Fear of Clowns.  There was some mix up with money and shipping or something and it pissed me off.  So I went on a forum (horror channel at the time) and started to complain about the bad service I got.  That’s when Kangas found me and we argued for awhile.  Eventually things worked out and he sent me my copy (even signed it).  So he isn’t a douche.  He must have some weird curse where people hate him at first and grow to like him.

It is not the worst thing I’ve seen by far.  And I thought Shivers was cool.  I even use some of the make-up design when I act the evil clown myself (I add bleeding eyes to the mouth).

now if you want a really bad indie movie:  Try Bone Sickness.  That one was really rough to get through.  And it’s sad cause there is good FX talent there.  But the acting and direction and plot hurt so bad.  Luckily when I got that it came with like 3 other movies the guy did, and there was enough titty to justify the cost.

I think Warthogs are Beautiful, but people think I’m ugly.  So I guess that makes me stupid.

I am TOTALLY a douche! Don’t you tell me what I am! :)

And yeah, the funny part is that I emailed the guy after reading the review and he then asked to interview me, and he posted it on his blog, which you can find somewhere on that page. (which is also where I found the link to the cute half-naked B-movie girl I mention in the other post)

And Moose--you had a problem ordering the flick from me? I don’t remember arguing with you. You must not have found an incredibly-interesting name to call me--(fond sigh) I always remember those.

Glad you mentioned Bone Sickness.  That holds a top spot in my “worst movie I ever saw” list.  It is rivaled only by seventies sludge, The Wizard Of Gore.

So Kangas,

Did you really blow the budget on coke and whores?  I would think that it would just naturally be budgetted in.  I know on a current budget I am working on, I have coke and whores budgetted just above craft services.  A rough breakdown is something like this…

1) Make-up effects.
2) Coke and whores.
3) Craft services.
4) Actors.

Well, here’s the truth. You don’t need to budget money for whores. See, if you’re a director or a producer, the actresses become total whores around you. What they’d do for an extra line! There was this one time...wait, I don’t know what the statute of limitations is for that.

And me, I’m more of a pot/alcohol guy. I find a can’t really drive my car right when I’m all coked out, but I’m totally fine as long as I keep it under 3 joints/12 beers. Heroin’s a toss up.

As for paying actors--hah! It’s an honor for them to be working with me! That’s payment enough.

Craft services? Never heard of it. I’m always taking off after the last shot of the day to Ruth’s Chris or Morton’s for a nice filet mignon. I take whichever starlet has offered herself to me most recently. Never let it be said that I am not a gentleman.

The rest of the peons--I treat ‘em right. The cast and crew receive enough cash to get themselves a kid’s meal at McDonald’s(or maybe Burger King if they did a good job for the day).

You’re too cool for school, Mr. Kangas. I’m not sure I would be able to handle the shit talk so admirably.

But on a happier note...FOC is really getting around! Even when the word ain’t good, people still can’t help themselves and rent/buy it. That’s kinda awesome.
