Okay, as a big fantasy nut I was thrilled to hear that Tad Williams was going to be taking over the writing reins on Sword Of Atlantis. Now that the first issue is out I’d like to say what the frak is going on in this book? Granted, I haven’t read Aquaman in ages, but come on! No, seriously, I have no idea what I just read. Has Arthur’s entire history been ret-conned? Has DC learned nothing from the mess that the first Crisis made of continuity? I really wanted to like this, but it made me feel stupid! Think about that. Aquaman (!)... made me feel stupid. And that makes me angry. And anger leads to hate, hate to suffering, and we all know where I’m going with this. Amnesia? You’re frakkin’ kidding me! It’s Fish Police set in Middle Earth. At least I had 52 and JSA this week, or nobody would be safe.
