There are many great toy lines around, and I’m forced to wonder, you toy people out there, do you have to have everything, or do you pick your favorites?
Back when the Simpsons toy line started, I bought everything they put out, every figure, no matter how random, every playset, I had it all. I had a wall devoted to them. Series one through seven. Then one day, I got rid of them all. Partially because I knew I couldn’t keep it up, partially because the Muppets toy line was starting up and I needed the real estate.
When I started collecting the Muppets line I started to be more careful. I didn’t need everything. Just the pieces I really liked. Then the Muppets line announced they would have special figures, exclusives, etc. Darn it. I didn’t insist on getting everything they had, though the Kermit and Piggy wedding set is cool.
Some of the superhero sets are cool, but again, I only pick my favorites.
What about everyone else?
