I’m not going to make fun of another person’s website.  That would be cruel. :-)

Most of the time I see all the bad design and my eyes glaze over and content suddenly has no meaning (hence my aversion to MySpace). But on the rare occasion I decide to read, I only hope that it be written well and entertaining.

No such luck.  I’m already critical of the website as it is.  I’m even more critical of articles like this one.  A site about comics that feature an article explaining this guy’s bad experience in dating “crazy bitches” is, now that I think about it, a perfect combination.

Yeah, as much as I love Paul Jenkins the Writer, I’m not so impressed with Paul Jenkins the Blogger. Rarely (read: almost never) is it as entertaining as one would expect from a guy who writes some great comics.

Maybe it would be better if Newsarama had Geoff Johns write about all the gay characters he *cough*dated* queer bashed.

I’m still of the opinion that people only read about a page (if you’re lucky) when online, and then they skim the rest. That’s a lot of text for a blog. You need to keep things concise, or break it up in a visually interesting manner.

Paul Jenkins. Don’t know about his blogging, but he’s a very friendly guy after he’s had a few drinks (as shown here). Picture taken a few years ago at a party during Wizard World TX. I don’t think Paul realized he was miles away from the “cool kids table”. I was there for the open bar.

Paul is a super nice guy but anything longer than 600 words is basically rambling unless you’ve got something really compelling to tell.  That wasn’t the case here.  The internet = short attention span.

True, web pages are the virtual eqivalent to the world’s “toilet read”.

Just be sure to wash your hands after using the keyboard.
