Is anyone watching this show?  It’s one of the best series I’ve seen this summer.  Great stuff.

I’d have to double-check but I think iTunes is offering the pilot for free.

I have seen the commercials, so I know it’s a “fake psychic/detective/buddy cop/comedy/drama”
but what is there about it that makes it worth my limited viewing attention?

It’s funny and if you’re a fan of Monk, you’ll like this show.  The two leads have great chemistry together.

It is exceedingly clever and cynical. The main character is a jackass who had a bad childhood but maintains this spectacular memory and attention to detail because his dad was a cop and abrasive tool. He makes his living expenses by noticing things, but the cops can’t believe he’s just that good (or better than they are) so to avoid getting arrested on suspicion he pretends to be a psychic.  Plus the two main characters are hilarious.

And the first season finale ended at a comic book/sci fi convention with everybody named after Batman characters. Gotta love that.
