I didn’t see the concert that Jack T. Ripper reviewed on Stryper, but I have to say that Ozz Foxx is more than a rhythym guitarist. The guy is an amaing lead guitarist as well.

I played a comeback documentary video of the band in 2001 on my old TV show. They’ve been trying to make a comeback for awhile. Hopefully they will hit big again because they’re talented musicians and Michael Sweet has a great voice.

But does the world really need a Stryper comeback?  Did it really need them the first time?

Waiting for a Stryper comeback is like waiting on a Grim Reaper comeback, IMO.

Well, even though the two bands are at opposite ends of the ethereal spectrum, they both put out some good music. Especially when one considers the lame, boring and untalented tripe that passes for hard rock these days with the drop “D” tuning and no guitar solos.

Be that as it may, Grim Reaper vs. Nickleback isn’t exactly Clash of the Musical Titans.

All I can say about Nickelback is that I will never interview them again. Chad Kroeger was one of the biggest A*Holes I’ve ever interviewed.
