Wait...that was an action scene? There wasn’t much action. Holding up a giant ferris wheel is a prelude to an action scene but shouldn’t be the whole thing as little action happens. Most directors would have that be one part of a much larger event. Not so with Story and his crap directing. You should read the FF: ROTSS review. He nails the movie perfectly.
The more I think about this movie, the more I hate it. Not just because it’s total crap but because of the squandered potential. It could have been so much better but because FOX only sees it as a quick cash cow and not something that should be nurtured and developed, we’ll never get a good FF movie.
The budget for the movie is a reported $130 million. You look at the screen and wonder where they spent the money. It wasn’t on script, salary or special effects.
