There are some great toys out now. What do you like?
The superhero toys out now are some good things. Even the new G.I. Joe: Sigma 6 toys are looking good.
Anyone have any favorites?

The Classic Superman line looks good but the Superman Returns line looks like crap.

Whoo-hoo! A toy section! Now I can go town.

I have to say, this is really a golden time for plastic, as some of us refer to our collections. In the last five years, there’s been greater variety than ever. Toys aimed at all age levels, at all price ranges and levels of quality. One can really take his pick and specialize. Speaking as a customizer, many of the artists I know got started because there wasn’t enough variety in the past. We had to make our own stuff to fill the ranks. (And walk up hill, both ways, in the snow.) There will always be charaters I want to make, but there aren’t near as many gaps now.

That being said, I wonder how long this bubble can last? With the closing of the most Suncoast stores, many of the small “boutique” manufacturers lost a big cliet. Many of these companies hit hard times or closed their doors altogether last year. (Including my favorite, Palisades.) Will there come a time when we’re back to only “the big two?”

Anyway… My plastic vices are many, though I have curtailed in recent years. My home is… well, parts looks like a very well organized toy store, except I open everything. Animated DC, 6” DC, vintage Star Wars, Muppets, Hellboy, Zim, LOTR, Buffy, NBX, minimates, Transformers, etc. Not to mention all the stuff in boxes. For those interested, here are some collection photos from last September: Cason’s collection.

Now, time to dig into some Batman Legos!

Going by Zeus today and plan to look over the new Crisis on Infinite Earths figures. Flash is definitely high on my list, but I think they all look cool.

Yeah, I know people who love the bobbleheads, but I don’t really get them.
I thinkn I have a Kermit bobble head, but it’s because I am a Muppet fan.

The only toys I am really into is anything that comes from the Halloween movies. I have got a fair number of items released over the past 10 years or so. Figures, busts, snowglobes, dioramas, bobbleheads...but my favorite is the 18” NECA released. I missed out on buying the 18” McFarlen and it now sells for a fortune on ebay, when it is on. But, the NECA looks bad ass.
