Saw Fantastic Four last night and it sucked as much if not worse then the first one.  What a horrible movie.  Jessica Alba was orange with freaky blue contacts.  She was very distracting.  The special effects were horrible.  Usually effect heavy films get better special effects wise but this movie went backwards.  What a waste of time and film.

I have to agree. This was really, really awful. It was so bad, my wife actually fell asleep in the middle of it. What were they thinking?

They were thinking it would make nearly $60 million in its opening weekend, which this gutbomb did.

Damn it…that means we’ll get a third film.  Why does God hate me?

I didn’t feel quite that strongly against it (the “Why, God, Why!?!?” type of feeling), but I definitely disliked it and have no desire to see it ever again.  The first movie was placed in my Top Ten Least Favorite Movies Ever category, and this one isn’t too far behind it.

I felt like this really was a little too old for kids, but too young for adults…and thank God Jessica Alba is good lookin’ (sans the freaky contacts), ‘cause the girl can’t act.

Julie, you would have made a WAY better Sue Storm-Richards.

And just out of curiosity, what’s on your Top Ten Least Favorite Movies Ever list?

I sure wouldn’t have worn those ghetto “I wish I had blue eyes but everyone can definitely tell I have dark eyes” cheap-ass looking contacts…and you crack me up, btw.

Also, I wouldn’t have ever dated that Mr. Fantastic nerd.  He’s so self-involved anyway…pssht.

In regards to my list of Least Favorite Movies—it’s funny how most of them have popped up since Kit and I started dating.  In case you didn’t know, he’s notorious for loving sub-par films.  It would take me a little time to actually concoct a “list.”  Lemme get back to you on that.

After seeing the first one, the aching desire to catch the sequel was majorly absent.  That first film was generic in every sense of the term.  It was a by-the-numbers push of blandness and subpar action sequences.  Jessica Alba is one of the best looking women in Hollywood—it’s just too bad God doesn’t give with both hands.  In fact, same goes for the movie: it had the look and not much else, anywhere.
