Are these the channels to watch for movies when you only have basic cable? I feel like there has to be other choices but I can’t seem to find any. What do you watch?

The thing I’m noticing now, beyond the split-screening thing they do so they can play the end credits to one movie, while starting another, is that the ever-so-slightly speed up the framerate. Everything’s moving a split-second faster than it should, and it’s odd because it looks like you’re watching the film on fast-forward. It’s aggravating as f***, and it’s why I don’t bother watching theatrical films that play on basic cable.

The commercials on basic cable are annoying as hell, but I think the breaks on Lifetime and Sci-fi are less frequent.  Therefore I watch those two channels more because some of the other channels are terrible with their commercial breaks. It feels like they have a break every 8 mins.

Isn’t Lifetime the “Bitter Against All Things Male” channel?

The problem with TNT/TBS and so forth is that they do show movies… the same movies each month… over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. I do like some of the movies they show, but MUST THEY SHOW IT 500 TIMES A MONTH?!?

Oh, and the fact that TNT and TBS should be remained L&O since at least 33% of any given day’s schedule is Law & Order (whatever) reruns.
