It was the strangest thing I have seen in a theater, it was like the whole film was edited to high. In almost every scene you could see the mics. And I didn’t get the feeling that this was on purpose.
That sounds more like a screening issue then the movie. If the projectionist puts the wrong gate on the camera, you’ll see the boom mike from time to time. Unlike say Dolomite where the director didn’t know what he was doing.
really? hmmmm thats crazy. I didn’t know that type of stuff was on the reel at all. It seemed a little too crazy for any studio to let it get put out like that....but from what i was reading it sounds like Weinstein had pretty much given up on the film.
By the way the cast is really good, the movie is pretty bad.
I just did some reading about....that makes me feel better....I thought I was crazy since I couldn’t really find any big stories about it online.
Though this must have happened a lot with the film, I wonder if they sent out the wrong spec to the theaters, cause there were some other random people that mentioned seeing the boom mic all the time during the film.
