Cabin Fever- My thoughts…

I thought this was a great example of the sub genre I loved “parionid people” i.e- the thing, night of the living dead etc.. It has flaws but it shows a flare for the ultra bloody. I flare that such masters as Dario A, H.G.Lewis, Luci F etc. It is rather tame compared to Hostel. But i dare you to tell me their wasnt some sick and disturbing scenes, inculdeing the imfamous shaving scene and Rider Strongers girlfriend and the decay she goes through.  I also love the fact that our hero dies, well for that fact everybody dies .. Like Night of the living dead nobody survives.  Eli Roth when given the freedom could make the next classic horror film mark my words…I feel like Hostel is already a instand classic.  Im not trying to sway anyones opionion just figured it might give a new point of view…

Peace out
Mike

Coils of the serpent unwind
Buried beneath you will find
Deep in the halls of the damned
Spirit in black till the journey’s end
