I didn’t see a topic for this show, so if there’s one already, sorry.  Loved this show.  Andy was hilarious, and talking about Stephen King seems to bring out the best in Matt.  The main reason I wanted to post was that Amy mentioned my name in show 64.  The only thing more cool would be a mention by Andy.  Maybe some day…

To prove that success hasn’t gone to Andy’s head, he mentioned my name in Episode 66.  Again, Amy said my name while abusing me, which is cool.  I’m married so I’m used to it.
I’m catching up on my NOTLP listening because I spent some time in the rain in Canton over the weekend, exploring the mysteries of Ohio.  One thing I found was that there are a lot of trucks on the turnpike.  I also saw a bunch of huge historic homes in Massillon, Ohio.  I was a little disappointed because I asked my father-in-law if there were any “Ohio” beers, like Lone Star Beer in Texas.  He said that he likes Natural Light, which they have here in Michigan too.  The only exotic thing I saw at the party store was Tangerine flavored Zima.  Do you guys know if there are any beers brewed in Ohio, that aren’t just local micro breweries.  Just curious. 

Andy, thanks for the mention.  Just another reason I’m glad I voted for you as my favorite NOTLPer.

Christian Morlein used to be brewed here.  Other than that, there’s a Miller plant.  Don’t have our own beer at this point.  I guess everyone thought that chili was enough.  meh.

The town I live in is bringing back a beer and sausage event in October, Sausage and Suds. Who knew we had so many micros in the bay area. I don’t suggest the passion fruit beer, but surprisingly the pumpkin ale is not bad.
