Since each of those. ..  Ghost in the Shell is my favorite.  As far as the Wife goes, she’s into Shoujo Anime, which is the girly stuff. ..  Fruit’s Basket we finished, right now we’re watching Karin (Chibi Vampire), and we’ve got Love Hina, Oh My Goddess, and Battle Athletes Victory coming soon

Also read the Battle Royale series.  Great manga.

yeah i like the girly anime! we tried watching oh my goddess but we didnt like it much so eff that show. it’s been deleted from the que yo.

Of course, Akira is a must see.

I thought Metropolis was outstanding, as well as Blood, the Last Vampire.  Patlabor 2 was good, also.

Steamboy looks outstanding, although the story isn’t as solid as some of these other flicks.

I liked it, although you wonder what gets lost in translation with the title.  lol

Paprika comes out in November.  That’s a must watch. 

Also recommend Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress and Three Godfathers.

Also recommend Samurai Deeper Kyo, Bubblegum Crisis, Neon Evangelion, and Blue Gender
