I remember seeing that, but it was sold out over the holidays.
Don’t you wish you had a babylon fish to survive Cali?

That depends on if you meant a babelfish, because those are able to translate any language into concious brainwave patterns.
A babylon fish doesn’t sound like something I’d want anywhere near my ear due to it’s obvious habits of debauchery.

Ugh. I guess I’m not so good at multi tasking. Yes, babelfish.
Now it’s off to the Post Office to ship out 15 packages. My hand hurts from the stupid labeling and taping I’ve been doing.
One of the Big Box Book stores has the Sony version on display. Neat tool. You know you can do something similar with a PSP, right?

You should already know I’m not tech nerdy enough to answer that well. A friend of mine is and he mentioned that’s how he rigged his PSP when he had to take long BART trips. I have no idea what the limits are other than potential connectivity lags.

Meh, I just don’t think I’d ever really use it, were I to get one.

See, you just saved yourself money to get some good flicks. Or good literature.

Precisely. It seems we’ve reached an understanding.
I’m saving up for the complete Twilight Zone DVD collection, y’see.

Oooooh, nice. I’ve had my eyes on that too. Look up a little show from the 90’s called American Gothic. Fun stuff and not nearly as expensive.

Never heard of it!
*is off to Amazon*
EDIT: Ooh… now that looks like something I could sink my teeth into. I’ll definitely remember it.

This is EXTREMELY off topic but eff it. I loooooove the HHGTTG

Okay so it’s MOSTLY for accessing e-books and e-magazines BUT it accesses wikipedia and that’s enough for me.
It is kind of clunky looking - plus I’m unclear about how to files off of the Kindle. It doesn’t sync like an iPod or whatever. And they have their own proprietary file format which makes it tougher to find content - outside the 300 or so titles available and Wikipedia.
I played with the Sony version and it had very low usability. For the price, I would probably just buy an iPhone which also has portability, connectivity, and other features I’d probably use.
Of course, right now I’m just enjoying the regular ol’ books I have on the shelf and my backlog of reading for 2008 is getting a bit out of hand.
