Now wait a minute—I totally did not get a call about you doing FOC2—and you have my phone number!
So—thanks for making me relive the episode 8—it was great! Now I definitely have to fight Ryan! And was that Chiz who called me a douche nozzle? He’s dead to me too!
(and it’s kinda funny to think you guys are “veteran” podcasters—you’re so old!)—and I won Erica over on FOC1 through lowered expectations! Sweet! It’s how I plan to win on FOC2!
I will explain to you in person why Shivers is shirtless—it was totally my call, so you can blame me. And I CANNOT believe you went back and watched FOC1 again—even I won’t do that…
The film you got was 104 minutes long. Wow—okay, the whole Erica theory is why you needed me on the show. I understand how she could have gotten confused, but I’ll explain it later.
Budget wasn’t much bigger, but much of the budget of the first movie went to buying equipment which I now own. That money now went to actors and FX, hence the upping of quality.
NO FOC3!
I can take no credit for lighting/camera—it’s still the guy from the first movie—Dave Mun—but I could afford to rent real lights for him, which makes ALL the difference in the world to a DP). Unless the scene was really dark and underlit—then that was probably me shooting a pickup two months later. I’m a decent shooter, horrible lighter.
Glad you liked it—the one you have is the theater cut. The real one will be about 99 minutes long, and the ending is slightly different(I think). But I think you should make sure no one gets their hopes up! It’s mediocre, but compared to part 1 it’s okay! :) And hey, go rate it on imdb, will ya? It still doesn’t even have 5 votes…
Thanks for all the kind words! You almost make my ass stop hurting from anal pillaging I took in Episode 8. Almost. :)
End note: Funny, I read a lotta of Christopher Pike back before he did the “serious” horror stuff he does now—I think he was just starting out back then, ‘cause I was still young…(sigh)
