So I’ve heard from various people that they love the show intro and want more various, monologuish talk at the top of the hour and I’m all for there being more spotlight on me so I thought I’d take this question to the Legion.

What do you guys think? More first segment?

Only if it’s not the same thing every week. Otherwise, go for it!

Good times.

The real doll rental bit made for great dinner conversation.

Is the podcast staying in the hour range or expanding beyond that?

I don’t mind chit-chat at the top of the show. We don’t do much of it, but nobody asks for more. Must be nice to get requests…..

Also - I got CD on iTunes when I got home from work. Thanks very much! Are you in the Zune Marketplace too? If not, lemme know and I’ll see if I can add you. Took for freakin’ ever last night to get Big Red Podcast in it. I’ll save you some time.

I don’t know guys, I hate these stupid podcasts that go on and on. I mean what kind of arrogant jerk jabbers on for over an hour of podcast. No one is that informative or clever. Wait, our last podcast was how long you say?
Ummm…..
I think extending the podcast is a great idea! Carry on….

I’m all for it, if it’s all killer no filler… I have to say though, I smurfin hate when podcasts drone on and on and on about their weekend or other details I have no interest in hearing. I mean, a little personal info is swell and all, but I couldn’t care less when it gets impossibly self-indulgent…

With the extended Intro and the PERMANENT (that means get your ass to work DZ) addition of a variable topic third segment, the new format will be..

Intro(10:00) - Segment 1(15:00) - Segment 2(15:00) - Segment 3 (15:00) Outro(5:00)

Of course with the four commercial breaks and any voicemails/emails that may plump up the Outro segment, the show will actually be anywhere between 60 and 70 minutes.

We’re not in Zune Marketplace yet (unless someone submitted us and I just don’t know about it.) Yeah, I would greatly appreciate it if you submitted us so I don’t have to download and install the software to do it. Thanksh!

BIG WILLY! What’s up man! Yeah I hate that also. Nothing puts me to sleep as fast as monotone droning (well maybe Rohypnol but that’s only happened like 4 times.) I just feel rushed in the beginning of the show trying to get out all of the stuff I want to and lately it’s resulting in me running out of content before the theme is finished.

I want more Intro talk time so we can go into more detail on things like sexdollrental.com and any other interesting stuff we may have.

personally, I have no problem with a podcast running beyond 70 minutes, as long it stays tight… You guys could totally pull it off as the show is more than engaging enough.. On a related note, I love that you guys are doing a show every week. I hope you guys continue at that pace and try(for the most part) to stay regular as it blows when a show you love becomes erratic

Moniseur Treize, I totally agree with you. I think the pitfall some shows fall into is not distinguishing between random stuff of interest to their fan base(i.e sexdollrental.com, Willy likee by the way or cool shows the people might dig), but instead blathering on about taking their dog to the vet for his shot or how they tried gorgonzola on their pizza this weekend or how they engaged in some light fisting after supping from a goblet filled with fine spirits… I think it all comes down to self-indulgence… In any event, extend le intro man, you’ve got enough time to do that(in my humble opinion)...

It’s not just content, but tone that resonates with me, so I don’t mind the intro chatter, as the snark, sarcasm and what have you, works nicely for me. I can’t listen to most talk shows and/or podcasts because they put me to sleep. I would personally be offended if you stopped using smurf in the podcast, but that’s just me. You have to do what’s best for you and if that means tastes great but less filling, so be it. I just hope the days comes when it can actually become more interactive.

That said, what if I don’t have a voice (am headless actually) and want to request something ot be covered? Do I have to tap my neck stump against the phone in morse code to put in a voicemail request? If so, I might have to learn morse code.

You may wonder, if she is headless, how does she listen to the podcast? That, well, that’s my little secret best left unspoken. Vibrations ... word.

I have slaves? Those bastards told me they get paid for their services. I’ve been robbed! Oh how can someone take advantage of a headless person like that?

Morose code!! hahaha.
