My name is Kasey and I’m from Canada. I’m done high school. I now need to decide what I’m going to do with my life.

I started listening to Cinema Diabolica around episode 18. I don’t remember how I found it but I’m glad I did. After listening to episode 18, I went back and listened to all the old episodes in about two days.

My favourite movie is Jaws. I first saw it when I was three and have loved it since. My favourite
book is Tishomingo Blues by Elmore Leonard. Favourite T.V. show is Dexter. Favourite video game is Metal Gear Solid.  Favourite musical artist has to be Johnny Cash
or Leonard Cohen. I, like a couple posters above me, would recommend K-os.
Also, my favourite ice cream flavour is butter pecan.

That is all.

I’m confused… Are the guys who do Cinema Diabolica and Outside The Cinema the same?... When I listen to episodes back to back it all becomes one big horror, cult, gore, genre movie podcast blur!

Anyhoo…

Hi I’m Matt, listening from London, UK. Love the podcast, cheers!

Hey there, name’s John, 32, married with an 11 year-old - been a horror fan for as long as I can remember. The first flick I remember watching was Return of the Living Dead and my favorite is Evil Dead II. Love the show and I’m glad to be here.

I just started listening to the show and well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,a damn fine show it is. I have been out horror for a couple years but Cin D. has wetted my tastes again.

Loves

Fulci (The Beyond is over-rated though)
Argento (except Inferno….one of my most hated movies of all time)
Spaghetti Westerns

Hello, all.  My name’s Todd, user is banner731.  This is the first forum I’ve ever subscribed to (you lucky dogs).  I have been listening to the show for a while, and think you guys are doing a great job.

I am largely unimpressed with what passes for “horror” movies these days, and I like that you dig up gems from the past that may have gone unnoticed otherwise in horror and other genres.

I hope I can contribute something worthwhile here, and look forward to discussions with you all.

Hi everybody,Marwood here,i’m a 38 years old male from the UK.

Been into movies all my life, love my Horror movies. I was 10 years old the first time i watch a little movie called “The Texas ChainSaw Massacre”. It wasn’t a great copy,it was 1980 and it was a shitty VHS pirate, but it worked amazingly well, and seeing Leatherface for the very first time, well it changed me forever.

Love the show guys, keep up the good work.

I’M WEIRD AND AWKWARD…

I dig the podcast a lot, its really nice to listen to some people as enthusiastic about these types of movies as yourselves are. I think its pretty obvious what movies i’m into considering i listen to your show so I won’t bore you with the details.

Heya folks. This here is the Lightning Bug, a long time fan and first time poster. I’m a big fan of CD and OtC and now also of the Gentleman’s Guide. I’m 32 and I live down in South Carolina with my wife, my dog, and my evil cat.  My favorite movie is Plan 9 from Outer Space, and I run a site over at The Lightning Bug’s Lair where I review cult, horror, and pretty much whatever else I feel like. I’ve been a horror fan for as long as I remember. I think I got started when my mom and dad showed me the Universal Pictures Dracula and I became a Bela Lugosi fan. Since then I have never been able to get enough. Thanks for the great show guys and keep up the good work.

Hey! New listener from Norway.
My real name is Bjornar, and Im 26 years old. My first memory of seeing a horror-type movie was watching Poltergeist with my friend on a sleepover, getting so scared that we had to walk each other to the toilet. Mass-hysteria anyone? :)
My faves include the classics like The Exorcist, The Omen, Nightmare series, Friday series, Halloween etc and almost anything by Takashi Miike. That dude rules.
Im new to the explotation/underground but Im looking forward to getting recommendations from more seasoned fans. Nuff of my shit, see you around!

Hey hey hey fellas and ladies. The names Jeremy, but most of friends are smurfin and can’t pronounce that, so I get called J by nearly everyone. Three syllables ain’t that hard, is it? From Lansing, MI and no, I’m not proud.

I’m also retarded, but in completley different ways. I’ll often type your when I mean you’re. Yeah, grammar not really my thing. I just make it up as I go along.

Lifelong movie fan. First movie I remember seeing is Star Wars at the drive-in. My parents took me to the drive-in alot. I remember we went to see Under The Rainbow (Chevy Chase), but all I did was stare at the other screen across the parking lot because of the animated boobies of Heavy Metal. They told me to sleep when they watched Alien. I of course, peeked the entire time and pissed myself awake every night for a month. I honestly believe I’m one of the only people on the planet that saw Student Bodies (one of my favorite comedies of all time) at the drive-in, double featured with The Blue Lagoon. My uncle took me to the drive-in every Friday after my parents stopped taking me, and he took me to everything! I think I was 9, maybe 10 when I saw a double feature of Friday The 13th Part 3 in full on 3D (absolutely horrible at the drive in!) and Mausoleum.

Friday The 13th and Phantasm duke it out for my favorite horror film every day. They also fight off Sleepaway Camp, Black Christmas, Re-Animator, Evil Dead and Night Of The Creeps.

Two years ago I picked James Gunn’s Slither as best film of the year. It just beat out United 93. Last year it was Superbad. I’m not a snob, I love everything, as long as it’s good. I can watch The Beyond and follow it up with The English Patient. The same goes for comics, books, music. If it’s good, I like it. If it’s not, I don’t. I’m always right and you’re always wrong.

Thanks for having me, and hopefully I’ll continue to contribute to the forums. I don’t normally hang out in forums because of dipshit spammers of hate and mediocrity. I have a feeling this place is different. I’m off to explore!
