I saw Gran Torino last night and while it’s not Eastwood’s best it’s still a good movie. There was an interesting mix of people at the theater too and a good time had by all.

Aside from Eastwood, the cast was a smurfin joke. I have a feeling we’ll be talking about it in the future, so I’ll leave it at that for now. Gotta rest up, hiking and seeing Revolutionary Road tomorrow.

I think I will watch the doc Hell House tonight. There’s something about Christian haunted houses that give me a giddy feeling.

Tonight, I attempted to watch The Unborn. I couldn’t take more than fifteen minutes’ worth, but not because of the movie. Think The Het’s very first voicemail about the teenagers at There Will Be Blood, but a thousand times worse. It was mindblowing. Worst theater experience of my life.

This is how we respond to that crap in the Philly area!!! This gentleman should be given the congressional medal of honor. I guarantee nobody in that theater will ever talk again. The revolution has begun!!!

Spread the news of that event to as many people as possible in meat-space and like a virus it might re-program movie goers to be civil while in a theater. Translate the news to all other languages too for affirmative action.

Indeed, we’re getting back together this week if I have anything to say about it. Now that the holidays and birthdays are over with it’s time to get back to work (presumably with one of those 2008 wrap up shows). In the mean time, I’m going to try to get a few of the interviews that we recorded up.
