A two-parter this time out.  Here’s how it breaks down…

Part One
It’s raining McCain this week as the ShowShow crew discuss Katie’s unhealthy obsession with Ryan Reynolds, Miles’ unhealthy obsession with Steve Miner’s Day of the Dead remake and Beef’s moderately healthy obsession with Scorsese’s new documentary, Shine A Light.  Plus, a roundtable discussion of Forgetting Sarah Marshall proves to get everyone in the group absolutely John McCain. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNTPqG6ZECU

Part Two
The crew discusses the top five films they’ve masturbated to, listen to some friend-o feedback and do a half-assed, last minute Summer movie preview.

Yes, it’s downloading!

This week’s Top Five should be interesting.

Part one is gonna take a little extra time so that I can get all of the Day of the Dead clips together.  It should be pretty great once it’s done though.

This week’s Top Five was quite… insightful, shall we say?

Anyway, good show (well, good Part Two). Can’t wait to hear Part One.

Since I wasn’t able to attend, here is my Top 5 Juvenile Batin’ Movies:
5. All That Jazz: The dance number that inspired Paula Abdul’s “Cold Hearted” video.
4. Body of Evidence: Madonna dressing up Willem Defoe in her love.
3. Embrace of the Vampire: Alyssa Milano involved in an exploratory lesbian photography session.
2. Coffy: Any scene where Pam Grier shows her boobs before dropping somebody.
1. Bound: The 1st scene from the Wachowski Brothers’ flick where Gershon and Tilly get it on for the first time.

I think I’m starting to realize why so many people ask me “did i wake you?” when I answer my phone. I sound half asleep, or half stoned, most of the time on showshow.
And I’m not sure if we mention it on the show, but the 4th voice you hear on this showshow is Brian, Katie’s boyfriend.

Part One will post later tonight.  This is definitely how we’ll be posting two-parters from now on.

Goddamn that Day of the Dead montage is taking a long time…

Pam Grier’s breasts are smurfin crazy!  I remember seeing Coffy for the first time and actually being a little bit afraid of them.

Hooray, I’m no longer negligent!  Episode 47 is all the way up now.  Both halves and everything.

I did VCRPlus Belvedere!  What?  I didn’t understand why you guys thought it was so funny.  I was so happy when Belvedere finally came back from the writer’s strike.  We only get one channel here and my Friday nights consist of Mr. Belvedere, Perfect Strangers, and Webster.  Then I finish it off with an episode of GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling).  When GLOW is on, it’s my time (if you know what I mean).

There was an episode where one of Wesley’s friends had AIDS.  He had contracted it through a blood transfusion if I remember correctly.  I think it was right around the same time that Ryan White was big in the news.

Perhaps the greatest non-GLOW thing I’ve posted all day (at least).

That’s sweet.  What a cute couple.
