Musicians and horror films...mmmmm...like cookies and milk....or pizza and beer...they just go well together...like Britney Spears and panties...oh wait...scratch that last remark…

Yeah F13 - I dug the tunes too and added the group as a friend today.  Listening to it for some reason made me think of the last show I was at in NYC at Coney Island High before I moved from the East Coast.  I love both punk and hardcore bands and upstairs was the Teen Idols and down stairs was Blood For Blood - I remember racing downstairs after the Idols set to catch Blood and the room was filled with a million kickboxers beating the hell out of each other - gotta love East Coast Hardcore shows!!!

Thanks guys for sharing your tunes - bad-ass stuff - I dug it.  I think this is a great post, it’s always nice to find a new band that you can get in to or hear a new band that sucks ass and you can know to stay away from in the future.

As far as the Queers, my friend Jay did the drums on that Rocket To Russia Album when Hugh was too sick and left the band for a bit.  He was also the co-operator of the punk Hardcore Club STUDIO 158 in Connecticut where I was born and raised and most of the time spent my puk club days in NYC or Boston with the Exception of a few CT Clubs.

The Queers kick ass but like the Misfits and Dead Kennedys I think they should retire their names becasue all the band members split for the most part.

The essential Queers Album - LOVE SONGS FOR THE RETARDED - filled with bad-ass whoa oh whoa oh oh’s background and catchy tunes that you cannot help but sing your ass off to.  If anyone hasn’t heard ‘em I recommend this perfect album.  You like the Ramones, you like the Beach Boys, you like Screeching Weasel - you’ll like this.

I have never really gotten into that style of punk as much as stuff like pennywise or the bouncing souls, I have been a hardcore guy since I saw Biohazard and the Cro mags at the Channel when I was like 12.

Whoa....Biohazard....thats one I havent listened to in a while.....I have been listening to a lot of (Cock) SParrer lately....love those guys...and I am a Coldplay fan so I am anticipating their new release as they have said its quite different from their usual stuff.....Cro Mags are just freakin essential music....especially for the hardcore fans. It won’t let me type the proper word for the band I mentioned earlier in this post....ryhmes with dock.....sparrer

Any of you guys listen to horrorpunk or psychobilly? they cover alot of the stuff in horror and exploitation genres funnily enough.

the best according to me are
psycho:

demented are go
The meteors
mad sin
stitch hopeless & the sea legs

horrorpunk:

american werewolves
calabrese
blitzkid
cancerslug
the browns (masked madmen from canada)

and the lil old band no one has heard of but everyone seems to have a t-shirt of the misfits (i know a lot of people hate them after danzig but graves misfits is still awesome)

Saw a lot of you guys are into hardcore and a further sub genre of horrorpunk is horrorcore/ zombiecore (moshing to zombie masks...dude can it get more awesome.. maybe moshing to miley cyrus while drinking (pepsi) heavily) and a few top bands i would put in this category are:

the banner
send more paramedics
zombie apocalypse

woot!!!! snuck in like a ninja and no one knows who i am cause i forgot to post in the hey section first, hey by the ways!

Whoa....Styx and Kansas?....that is seriously old school....Carry on my wayward son!! Nice picks however, very well rounded....one genre of music gets boring fast.
