I have to put something straight - what I said about Citizen Kaine - I think it sounded like I said it was boring that isn’t what I meant. I own it but I haven’t had a chance to watch it so I can’t say that.

I was comparing the two because Amy said Nosferatu bored the s**t out of her but it is one of those landmark movies that the people of today might think was boring, as I have heard Citizen Kaine described.

Hope that clears things up a little - I am not uncultured (F13!), just a little behind on classic movies and don’t seem to have much time to watch them in these days!

Well let me help you out, Lamia. It’s Citizen KANE, and it IS boring. Beautifully shot, wonderfully acted, but a bore nonetheless.

You don’t have to be uncultured to consider it boring. Just politically incorrect.

Politically incorrect and unable to spell - I think that sounds like me!

Yeah, you guys ought to check out the Herzog remake, if not just for Kinski’s awesome performance as Nosferatu, easily on par with Willem Defoe’s!
