Why is my CD feed now reading “ask13”?

I thought I had a stroke or something.

Mine said “Ask 13” too. Then the show description talked about all the changes going on and I thought ... I thought ... I was just so scared!

I loved THE LAST STARFIGHTER too when I was a kid, but when revisited later in life it didn’t have the same feel as it did then, it was kind of disappointing as an adult (just grew out of it, I guess).

I have to add that I remember I smurfin loved KRULL as a little guy and even played the game at the arcade religiously - then when I was in my 20’s at sometime I saw it in the video store and said “Damn I gotta rent that, that kicked ass!”  Well, I didn’t even get half way through it before I shut it off and said “What the hell was I thinking - this sucks.”

You don’t like Krull anymore?! How can you not like a wizard who turns into a puppy and then a tiger or Liam Neeson before he became the voice of God in the latest Narnia?

I still like Krull, I have the collector’s edition DVD. I will admit it is extremely dated but I think its pretty fun. My question really is why the lead guy has to wear those tight pants? I mean Dude, that was uncalled for and I believe they were striped? The overacting by the guy who plays like the mentor in the film, the Miyagi role if you will, is something to see, it is way over the top and really bad.

Here are William’s nominees: Yor, the hunter from the future, Enemy Mine, Iron Eagle, The Last Dragon(which is still in my top 10 all time faves), and No retreat, No surrender(which was Van Damme’s big Hollywood break)...

Awesome picks Willy….I can only think of one off the top of my head…The Sword and the Sorceror, loved that movie when I was younger….Yor!!...I forgot about Yor!!!!!!!!!!!! How about Beastmaster, that would be cool….how about a guilty pleasure from my childhood thrown in there…are you ready for this one? Caveman with Ringo Starr….oh yeah, saw that about hundred times. I think Dennis Quaid was in it as well….

Caveman huh? Not a guilty pleasure at all. Everyone should check that film out. Don’t forget it also had Shelly Long of Cheers fame.
