Taste testing candy on air is so 2006 - we did that in our first Halloween show!
As for your Blaxploitation problem, it’s a fair issue to worry about. A few years ago I was at the Harvard bookstore and there was a display for a new book written by (I think) a Harvard sociology professor. It was called uhm… well, you know. That was just the title. Black cover, with I think either red or white letters. That was it - no subtitle like “exploring the power of race and language” or any qualifiers.
I was very intrigued by the book because I’d actually read some reviews that were good but I usually read on the T and that’s not where you want to read something like that. I read a book a few years ago called Practical Demonkeeping which is a satirical, comedic novel by Chris Moore and I got a lot of weird looks.
