Hopefully this’ll cheer F13 up

what do you guys think? Personally, it looks decent in my eyes, that pulsing score was effective, and there were a few good shots, but we’ll see. As of this moment, I’ll have blind faith in Moniseur Aja until that faith has been destroyed by a lame film..

Oh GOD this looks good! I haven’t seen an honest to goodness horror film in theatres in a while. I NEED THIS!

F13: do you have no interest in Shamalamadingdong’s the happening? I’m curious to see it as it’s R rated and hopefully he’s learned his lesson regarding doing a f*cking twist ending…

I’m not interested in it at all, although I’m not writing it off completely.
In my opinion not only has M.Night Shyamalan not made a film worth watching since Sixth Sense but his SECOND film resulted in him falling flat on his face. All of the accolade and hollywood touting him as the latest golden boy director was completely wrong and he’s since produced several stinkers and yawn fests.
Could this be good? I’ve seen stranger things happen.
Is it likely? no.

all good points; I do think that Signs was pretty good, and Unbreakable as well. With that being said, he has really sh*t the bed with the last 2 he’s put out.. I dunno man, we’ll see.. I mean the guys has it in him to make an excellent film, whether he does or not is a different story..

but enough about him. How’s about that French wunderkind Alexandre Aja?

Aja = I will see it.  Just like I will see Pirahna.  I just really love that guy, so far.  The trailer looks interesting.

no, but i would like to.  i enjoy a fair amount of the korean cinema Ive seen, thus far.

I saw the Mirror’s trailer at The Happening today and I am looking forward to it. It reminded me a little of Dark Water though. My friend gave me that,’Holy crap, this looks good,’ look so I know I will be able to call on a few people to see it.

The Happening suffers more from it’s cast than anything else. The ending is more straight-forward than is usual for him.

Unbreakable was very good. Signs was fun up until the last 10 minutes or so. Joaquin Phoenix’s acting was damn good.

Aja, don’t let us down brother!!!!  I skipped out on Shamalama ding dong’s flick to see The Incredible Hulk - I had low expectations, so it was better then I thought.  But Aja has to keep on a roll!!!  Has to.
