Another episode, another walk through my neighborhood with my iPod on, laughing out loud like a crazy person…
So the slumber party…..some things worked, others didn’t. The Ouija board does not make for good radio, I’m afraid. But I really did like the Bloody Mary portion - I think it was a great idea to send everyone into the room alone to record their experience. You need to do more scary-location podcasting. Any nearby haunted houses?
I wish everyone had tried to pull a prank like Andy did with his balls.
“Since I’m in here alone, no one will know that I’m pulling out my pubic hair and sprinkling it into this can of mixed nuts.”
“I’m finally alone with Freddy’s computer, I’m going to email some pornography to his mom.”
Also - more ghost stories! I know it will make Andy pee his pants, but I like when you guys get into urban legends, local ghost stories or creepy family histories. I wish I had some scary stories to tell, but nothing freaky ever happens to me. I was once in Scotland in the middle of the night during a full moon, started out at Loch Ness, and drove into the woods of the highlands to the cabin where we were staying. If there was ever an opportunity for me to encounter a monster, werewolf, or ghost that was it, but nothing happened. I was so disappointed.
Mirrors have always freaked me out, ever since I heard about the Bloody Mary legend when I was a kid. To this day, if I’m in a pitch dark room with a mirror in it, I get a little uneasy. Does anyone besides me remember an episode of a horror anthology series back in the 80’s (I don’t remember which one), where the main character kept seeing a hooded figure behind them whenever they looked in a mirror, and every time they saw it it was a little bit closer? That scared the crap out of me for a long time.
